- Livin' large in the Northwest. Originally from Malad, Idaho, I've been calling the Seattle area home since the mid 80s. I'm one of those Boeing guys (If it ain't Boeing I ain't going!) currently working on the 787 Dreamliner. Although my education is full of engineering, business, and project management, my inner-child looks more like Jimmy Buffett (although a wee bit more conservative) and I'd love to spend my life photographing ocean critters or just sitting under a palm tree on a beach on some island somewhere pretending I knew how to play the guitar... hmmmm....

I just browsed your blog. It was fun and loved reading about the running. Chris just finished a marathon on Grand Island in Lake Superior last week. He has very similar stories. Let's just say all of his toe nails are falling off. We will pray for Lexi. I was teary eyed reading about what's before her and what she's accomplished. Whitney Allen
